Why can’t the TXD pin of CAN1 in the NuMicro® NUC442/472 series be output as High voltage level?  Issue Date:2016-11-29

When the TXD pin of CAN1 in the NUC442/472 series is pin-shared with GPIO PA.1, since the power supply of PA.1 is provided from the VBAT pin, different from the power supply of the other GPIO pins that is from VDD, a fixed power is required to supply the VBAT pin.

The VBAT pin shall not be in floating state, or the TXD pin of CAN1 cannot be normally output as High voltage level.

The following diagram shows the power architecture of the NUC442/472 series.
